Boost Translation by Reviewing

Got a favorite novel translation on our site that you wish would get updated faster? If you want us to ‘boost’ its translation speed – maybe push out extra chapters or prioritize it a bit more – here’s what you can do: just leave a review for the novel!

Please note, however, that we’re specifically looking for reviews that show genuine enthusiasm or thoughtful, critical feedback about the story itself. Simple reviews that don’t meet these requirements won’t count towards the boost program.

After you post a qualifying review, just hang tight. We keep an eye on the reviews coming in. We’ll definitely notice enthusiastic or well-thought-out reviews, and as a thank you for showing your support, we’ll give you a shout-out by mentioning your Novel Updates (NU) name somewhere in the boosted chapters when they release. It’s our way of recognizing fans who help guide our focus.

Now, keep in mind that this boosting program isn’t automatically applied to every single novel on the site. Why? Because each translator or staff member working on a series has their own schedule, workload, and priorities. Some might be juggling multiple projects, dealing with real-life stuff, or just have a different workflow, so not every novel can be part of this specific initiative.

So, before you assume a novel is part of this, it’s best to check! You can usually ask the specific staff member handling that novel (maybe in the comments or on Discord if they have one?) to see if their project is included in the boost program. However, there’s one exception: generally, any novel that I (I’m Here To Enjoy) am personally working on is automatically part of this program, since I’m the one running it!
